This is one of the most important books I will ever read. It has become my 2nd favorite. I am looking forward to reading the full body of work of Ayi Kwei Armah. This should be required reading for children 13 and up.

A deeply moving and living trip down ourstory and forward into our future. A remarkable offering to our living Way, the Way, for which words will not suffice to describe, it simply has to be experienced.

Word's can't express the importance of this book. All I will say is that I read it once every year since I first bought it, and I frequently buy it as a gift for friends and family. This book should be read in conjunction with Chancellor Williams Destruction of Black Civilization. This was my first publication I read from Ayi Kwei Armah and Per Ankh, and I have down ever since, because Per Ankh is all about, "Our Way, The Way!!!"
