I bought this book for a high school graduation gift to my nephew in Florida. With all the book restrictions, I thought this was an ideal opportunity to introduce him to his past so he will know his people were educated and educating long before any of the institutions he is about to attend were created. This book is proof of the source of knowledge for all modern civilizations.

African Philosophy: The Pharaonic Period: 2780-330BC by Théophile Obenga is a "must have" resource for anyone seriously interested in obtaining a deep understanding on the subject matter. This scholar is tremendously lauded for making the time to learn and directly translate the sacred writings, rather than using Eurocentric translations.

I received the book as stated. Excellent quality product (packaging, binding, print and content). I have 600+ pages to get into. So far I am very pleased with the content of the book. The staff was pleasant via phone is answering my questions and helpful with ordering. I plan to order more books in the future. Smaller publishing companies need support alsoover what is most convienient. Please consider ordering from this company and obtaining this book authored by one of the most prolific African historians.

This hard-to-find gem of a book is a blessing from the Master of Wisdom himself - Jhwty. Baba Obenga gives us a wide selection from the living thought of KMT that demands a digging deeper into the Deep Thought of our living Way - Maat, insisting that we go learn more and then return to it time and time again. This work takes us places: sending us off to learn the MDW NTR, to explore our Way at the mountains with the majestic Dogon, brings us up the Hapi to the Neur and Dinka; sends us to the beautiful Bambara and the living wells of the Kongo and it unites it all around the source - KMT. It is a source that takes us to the source. The translation by Baba Armah is fluid and elegant, beautiful and rhythmic, as would be expected from the Eloquent Sesh.
